The Philippines continues to destroy more than 70 super cars, luxury car smuggling

   More than 70 supercars, luxury cars and motorcycles destroyed for the purpose of repelling trafficking in the Philippines. 
   A total of 70 supercars, luxury cars, and motorcycles were destroyed by a bulldozer at Port Irene in Cagayan Tuesday 30/7 under the direction of Rodrigo Duterte President. Specifically, there are 68 cars and 8 motorcycles destroyed in this batch. 
   This vehicle number 296 million pesos worth, including a Lamborghini, with a variety of Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, and Harley-Davidson. 
   Like cars smuggled batch processing times before, President Rodrigo Duterte continues to be present to supervise the destruction. He said: "this is a necessary action to let the world know that we have the investment environment and good business."
   This is the 3rd time this year the country's President ordered the destruction of the vehicle. January 2, he has destroyed 20 luxury cars worth 61 million pesos, including brands such as Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, Lexus, and Corvette. 
   May 6/2018, 112 scooter Vespa PX completely new, with 2 samples Triumph Bonneville, Land Rover 2, 1 Harley-Davidson Road King, F-Series BMW 1 GS, 1 and 1 unit Mitsubishi Pajero Volvo was also destroyed in a similar manner.


   In the past, the Philippines Bureau of Customs BOC ever auctions of confiscated cars to generate revenue for the government. However, President Rodrigo Duterte ordered to stop the auction and direct BOC destroy all the cars seized, this is the effort to prevent smugglers colluded with customs officials to repurchase vehicles.
